Puppy Update

So, our boy Jack is actually a girl Jack! Lol! The vet just explained the mix up being that she is so young that it's still hard to tell! Around 12 weeks old (what we figured) and possibly a GSD/Red Heeler mix.
Yes, we took her to the vet yesterday. She has no fleas, but they did find two ticks which they removed. No ear mites, just dirty ears. She's fairly healthy however, our vet recommended feeding her a little more as her hips are starting to stick out! They gave us a free heart worm kit and we got some Frontline for her & Jade, just in case! The BAD news, however, are those scars we thought she had. Ya know, the thick black ones? Yea, they were actually RINGWORM!! They looked like that because they were SOOOOOO BAD!!! And because the one spot is right above her eye,we had to pay $$$$$ for pills to give her!
A-N-D...... get this! She has to take them for a MONTH!! So one of 2 things will happen: 1.) we find her a new, responsible owner who will give her the pills on schedule then take her back in one month for her check-up or 2.) we keep her and do it ourselves! AH!
At this point we are fairly positive that she got dumped over our fence by someone who just didn't want to take care of her! Stupid people like that shouldn't even be ALLOWED to own animals!!!!!!
Don't get us wrong, she is a total sweetheart (who has promise for agility type competitions!), but we just don't have the time for a puppy right now! That's why I told the breeder I wanted to wait! It's just not fair to the puppy! Ag!
What to do!!!!?????????????????

haha it's a girl!! Wow, that's a surprise! That's too bad that someone was not taking care of the dog. I would say even if yall don't have enough time to give it the attention and time it needs, staying at your house is 100 times better than being abandoned or being lonely in a crowded dog shelter. So that's my thoughts - Keep it and give it love and attention when you can.

Keep the puppy! She's cute! and you wanted one! Or maybe if you here someone talking who wants a nice dog, you could give it away. But she looks cute and nice and lovable!

By the way - HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOSH!!!!!
