2 years!!!

January 11th marked our 2 year anniversary. It was a gorgeous San Diego day and we took full advantage of it!

We slept in (exhausted from picture taking the day before), then went to IHOP for a late breakfast. After an amazing, and huge meal, we turned in my tux and headed to REI where we bought a couple of cool gadgets...

On the drive home, we decided that we wanted to go on a little hike instead of lounging around and watching the Chargers vs. Steelers game. So we went home, changed, filled up our camelbacks and then drove east of Poway on Highway 67 to hike up Iron Mountain (2696 feet). It was a scorching January day at over 85 degrees, and we had a great hike.

There are very unique hills around here covered in rocks like this picture. These are small, but sometime hills are peppered with huge boulders... really neat to look at.

Jess enjoying the cool breeze off the rocks as the sun set over the ridge. You could feel a 15-20 degree temperature change by these rocks... It was amazing.

We were very disappointed when we got down to the truck and turned on the radio, to find the Chargers losing in the 4th Quarter. :( It's all good though, it was a great season for them.

We finished off the day at Olive Garden, were we had an amazing dinner. We topped it off with Coffee and Chocolate Cheesecake. YUMMY!

2 years down......... and a lifetime of fun ahead. We are truly blessed.
