SPRING BREAK 2008

Lynne's Senior Year!!!

Lynne finally made it! Yea!!! Her trip went pretty smoothly, minus her flight being delayed 15 minutes and loosing her cell phone in the Phoenix Airport! Yikes!! Other than that, her trip is going well! = ) (Lol, and we got her another phone! Silly butt!)

Yesterday we had fun!! I picked Lynne up around 1030 yesterday morning and we went straight up Point Loma to the Cabrillo National Monument and the Light House on the very TIP of San Diego!! What a view!! Other than a little smog in the distance that was blown in by the Santa Anna winds, it was B-E-A-utiful!!! = )

We also spent a good amount of time down by the water! La Jolla Shores, La Jolla Cove (to see the seals!), Torrey Pines Beach, and on Balboa Island! Lol, I think Lynne is for sure a true San Diegan @ heart!! We saw sunsets @ the beaches and even swam in the Ocean @ Torrey Pines! WHEW!!! It was kinda COLD, but , haha!, there was no deterring Lynne! She said she was in Cali for spring break and she would get in that ocean! Hahahaa!!


We had a blast just running around, which we did @ a CONSTANT rate! Lol! We went all the way up to Newport to eat @ "Ciaos" on Balboa Island (my favorite little place! Yum!) We also ate @ In-N-Out, Islands ( Lynne loved the Yaki Tacos! Above Pic!), Fuddruckers (the worlds greatest hamburger joint!), Hard Rock La Jolla, and had Jamba Juice! Yum!! Lol, actually, all we did while Lynne was here was eat out! There are just too many good places to let them go to waste! If she moves to Phoenix, she'll hafta come out just to eat out with us! Lol! She would have her own In-N-Out there, I hear...

YEA! Lynne and I also spent an entire day @ Seaworld while she was here! We ran around and were lucky enough to catch all of the shows! Dolphin Discovery, Shamu Show - Believe, Clyde & Seamore, and the Pets Rule! <----- Which is probably the cutest show in the whole park!

Here I am @ SeaWorld! I LOVE going to Seaworld and the Zoo's and anything outdoor with animals!!!! I swear I can see the same shows over and over again and always continue to get excited about them! haha! I even get surprised again sometimes!

I was sure that eventually Lynne would get tired of me making her pose for pictures, but, she was a great sport and indulged me! Haha! Isn't this a cute pic?!

SHAMU!!! We actually got a few really good pics but, Lynne requested (before she left) that I keep the pics to a minimum # and not the 400+ that we took while she was here! Lol!

All in all, we had a BLAST while Lynne was here and Josh & I were really sad to see her go!! = ( Hopefully she will never forget the sand castles and face paint tho... = D

Lol, sorry it has taken me SOOOOOOOO LONG to actually publish this! (Can you believe that Lynne left almost a week ago!) Josh and I have been SUPER busy cleaning house and going thru things that we need to get rid of! Josh also has an inspection this week for his squadron so... pray really hard for him and the rest of them! Sorry for the delay and we will do an update on what we've been up to real soon! MUAH!!
