Nikki's visit, Aug 2008

Well, to say the least it has been a very busy summer! We dropped Kevin and Steph off at the airport on Monday (July 28), then picked Nikki up from the airport on that same Thursday. We barely had enough time to do laundry, and clean house then..... MORE FAMILY! Not that it is a bad thing :)

Nikki's trip was a little different though. She LOVES to sleep. So while Jess and I were at work during the day, Nikki slept. When we got home, she woke up. When we went to bed, she stayed up. When we woke up and went to work, she went to sleep. All-in-all, it actually worked out very well.

While she was here we did a few exciting things. We went to the beach (Torrey Pines State Park), the Wild Animal Park, Seaport Village, THE MALL, ANOTHER MALL, and Del Mar beach (on Camp Pendleton). I think the highlight of her trip however was renting wave-runners for 2 hours up in Oceanside. It was a blast!!!!!

While we were at Seaport Village, Nikki found a friend as well. However, she was not so thrilled when it started walking up her arm!

Nikki even went out in front of 200+ people and did a hip dance!!! She did really good too! (Which by no means, is a good thing..... NO MORE DANCING NIKKI!!!!!)

At the beach on Nikki's last day. We really had a blast the short time she was here. We love San Diego, and will definitely be back to visit over the years.
